The VivoBook S15 Oled Snapdragon is a very good laptop, and while we weren't able to try out the ‘deluxe’ version, the one equipped with the X Plus already gets the job done. The 16:9 screen is very well calibrated and makes for very comfortable video viewing.

ASUS Vivobook S 15 is one of the first laptops available with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor on ARM architecture. It is able to work for more than 10 hours from the battery. Equipped with a gorgeous 15.6-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It has a full-size keyboard with RGB backlighting.

The laptop itself is actually very good, the processor performance often outperforms the various x86/AMD64 variants, is relatively quiet and has decent battery life.

Tested ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED with ARM is operationally pleasant, quiet, does not heat. The OLED display is nice, however, it is not as bright even at maxima as other OLED models and ASUS variants. The NB itself is OK.

This laptop is exciting though as it showcases a dream that many have had for a long time, a decent Windows experience on an ARM64 platform. We hope that ASUS continues to invest in this sort of machine and that in future the price point drops to a level where laptops like this are more easily accessible.

If you don't plan on doing much gaming, the Vivobook S 15 offers a great balance of performance and power efficiency to satisfy most people. If your workload includes niche apps or programs you'll want to be sure they support ARM64 unless you don't mind waiting for support to show up later, presumably.

The battery life was equally as impressive. On full brightness, I managed an entire day of use and more. This equals around 12 hours of full video playback on max brightness. Something unheard of on a Windows notebook.
