THE CHALLENGES

As creative workflows become more complex and industry expectations rise, ARTFX needed to ensure that students had seamless access to the same high-end tools that are used by professionals across every stage of production. From previsualization and virtual production to grading and final delivery, students must be equipped to handle powerful software and demanding visual standards.

The challenge was to implement a technology ecosystem that supports this full pipeline without compromise on quality, performance, or reliability. The requirement is that students aren’t just learning theory, but practicing with the exact tools they’ll use in their careers.

Partnering with ASUS ProArt enabled ARTFX to fully upgrade its creative infrastructure and deliver professional-grade experiences in three critical areas of its curriculum:

Classroom Learning with ProArt Display PA278CGV

In-class theory meets hands-on practice with the ProArt Display PA278CGV. This color-accurate, 144Hz display ensures that students working in leading industry software packages such as Unreal Engine, Nuke, and DaVinci Resolve see consistent, professional-quality visuals. With full ergonomic adjustability, these monitors support everything from concept development to technical execution.

In addition to the display, ARTFX also leverages ASUS MuseTree, an AI-powered image-generation software, to support students in the early stages of brainstorming and visual development.

Virtual Production with ProArt Display PA24US and ASUS NUC 14 Performance

In ARTFX’s on-site studio, students work with cutting-edge cameras and virtual production tools. The ProArt Display PA24US serves as a reliable HDR reference monitor on set, supporting real-time SDI input from cameras such as the ARRI Alexa 35. Paired with the ASUS NUC 14 Performance, this compact powerhouse delivers reliable performance in a portable format, making it ideal for dynamic, on-set workflows that demand speed and flexibility.

Finishing and Color Grading with Creator Workstation and ProArt Display PA32UCXR

For final grading and finishing, ARTFX relies on the Absolute Creator Workstation - Powered by ASUS and the PA32UCXR, a 32-inch 4K HDR mini-LED display with 1600 nits peak brightness and an ultra-high contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. This setup enables students to color grade to exacting industry standards, previewing their work in cinema-quality conditions. Powered by ProArt Z890 motherboard and GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card, and housed in a whisper-quiet, thermally-optimized ProArt chassis, the workstations handle heavy rendering with ease.
