As a special thank you for purchasing an ASUS device, ASUS has teamed up with 北京字跳網絡技術有限公司and Bytedance Pte. Ltd. to provide a maximum six-month or one-month limited-term subscription to preinstalled application “剪映” or “CapCut” (pre-installed applications vary by region, hereinafter individually referred to as “剪映 Application” or “CapCut Application,” collectively referred to as “Capcut”).
Before claiming the Offer (defined as below), you (“Participant”) should understand the terms and conditions governing this promotion (“Offer Terms”). The Offer Terms are in addition to (a) ASUS’s Terms of Use Notice and Privacy Policy (collectively referred to as “ASUS Standard Terms”) governing your use of the ASUS services; and (b) CapCut Terms of Use1, CapCut Terms of Service2 and CapCut Privacy Policy3 (collectively referred to as “CapCut Standard Terms”) governing your use of the CapCut to be eligible for this Offer. By claiming the Offer, the Participant is deemed acceptance of the Offer Terms in addition to ASUS Standard Terms and CapCut Standard Terms. ASUS and CapCut reserve the right to revise or terminate this Offer at any time.
1. HOW TO PARTICIPATE.
The Participant shall purchase one (1) new and eligible ASUS product (refurbished products are not included) during the Offer Period as defined below to participate in the Offer and claim either one (1) complimentary access to CapCut for maximum six (6) months or one (1) complimentary access to CapCut for one (1) month (depends on models of eligible ASUS product) (the “Offer”). The Participant may only claim one (1) Offer per eligible ASUS product. This Offer can be combined with other, simultaneously running offers from ASUS or CapCut.
2. OFFER PERIOD.
The Offer begins on June 30, 2024, at 00:00 AM GMT+8 and ends on December 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM GMT+8 (“Offer Period”).
3. REDEMPTION PERIOD.
The Offer and CapCut Membership Benefits (defined as below) may be claimed between June 30, 2024, at 00:00 AM GMT+8 and ends on March 31, 2027, at 11:59 PM GMT+8 (“Redemption Period”).
4. GENERAL CONDITIONS.
No substitution, transfer or cash equivalent of any Offer, except by ASUS, which reserves the right to substitute an Offer with one of comparable or greater value. Any taxes and any duties on the Offer are the Participant’s sole responsibility.
If the Participant returns the eligible ASUS product, the claim for an Offer will be invalidated, and the Participant will not be entitled to claim or receive the Offer. This does not apply if the Participant exercises its legal rights under the Consumer Rights laws because the eligible ASUS product is faulty.
5. VIOLATION.
If the Participant participates and claim the Offer without the purchase of one (1) new and eligible ASUS product and cannot prove their eligibility of the Offer and authenticity of the proof of purchase, ASUS and CapCut reserve the right to take legal action for fraud at any time.
6. PRIVACY; DATA COLLECTION.
Information provided by the Participant for this Offer will be collected by CapCut which is subject to CapCut’s privacy policy located at (a) 剪映Application website: http://lf9-cdn-tos.draftstatic.com/obj/ies-hotsoon-draft/vco/jianying_privacy_policy.html ; or (b) CapCut Application Website: http://www.capcut.com/clause/privacy-policy?store_region=us&lang=en, depending on the pre-installed application.
7. SURVIVAL.
If any clause of these Offer Terms should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.
ASUS MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING ANY OFFER OR THE PARTICIPATION OF THE PARTICIPANT IN THE OFFER. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE OFFER, PARTICIPANT AGREES TO RELEASE AND HOLD ASUS AND ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, SHAREHOLDERS, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, AND THEIR AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, PARENTS, ADVERTISING, PROMOTION AND FULFILLMENT AGENCIES, AND LEGAL ADVISORS HARMLESS FROM ANY AND ALL LOSSES, DAMAGES, RIGHTS, CLAIMS AND ACTIONS OF ANY KIND IN CONNECTION WITH THE OFFER OR RESULTING FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, OR USE OF ANY OFFER, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, AND PROPERTY DAMAGE, AND CLAIMS BASED ON PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION, OR INVASION OF PRIVACY.
CapCut Terms of Use
CapCut promises to provide different membership benefits based on different eligible ASUS products (“CapCut Membership Benefits”). See the table below for details.
For ASUS ProArt models, users can enjoy a maximum of 6 months of free CapCut Membership. The membership benefits begin from the first month of activation and login, lasting for a total of 180 days. Participants can activate these benefits every 30 days. To receive the benefits for a particular month, users must log in during that month. If they fail to log in, the benefits for that month will automatically lapse. Upon successful login, users will receive 30 days of membership benefits starting from the login date, with a maximum duration of 6 consecutive months.
For ASUS Non-ProArt models, users are eligible for 1 month of free CapCut Membership.
In addition, the CapCut Membership Benefits are subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. If the Participant deletes the pre-installed CapCut or downloads the CapCut from other sources to replace the pre-installed CapCut, the Participant will not be able to receive the CapCut Membership Benefits.
2. If the Participant restores eligible ASUS products to factory settings within 6 months after activating the membership benefits, the Participant will be able to continue using the unexpired membership benefits.
3. To obtain CapCut Membership Benefits, the Participant must log in within seven (7) days of activating the pre-installed CapCut; otherwise, the Participant will not be able to enjoy subsequent CapCut Membership Benefits.
4. After March 2027, the Participant will no longer be able to redeem membership benefits.
(For example, if a Participant purchases a ProArt model ASUS product and redeems CapCut Membership Benefits in December 2026, the Participant can only enjoy CapCut Membership Benefits until March 31, 2027.)

5. During the REDEMPTION PERIOD, if a country where you reside (“Country”) is currently unavailable for the CapCut membership subscription capability, the CapCut Membership Benefits will not be available. However, should the CapCut membership subscription capability become enabled in that Country at a later date, the Participant will then be eligible to receive the CapCut Membership Benefits. CapCut and ASUS assume no responsibility for this situation and provide no compensation.
