[Motherboard] How to query (CPU/memory) QVL List?

ASUS has verified the motherboard for the best stability and compatibility when installed with the devices in CPU/Memory QVL list.

How to query CPU QVL List of the motherboard?

How to query memory QVL List of the motherboard?

If you use it according to the CPU/memory list QVL, there are still stability and compatibility issues. It is recommended to update this model to the latest Bioses:

If you want to query CPU QVL List, you can query by below two methods:

Method 1:

1.  Please enter ASUS Download-Center, input the model name of the motherboard (Ex: ROG CROSSHAIR VII HERO), then choose the model name in the drop-down list as below:

2.  Please click [CPU / Memory Support] as below:

3.  Please click [CPU Support], and you can see CPU QVL list as below:

4. Please click Ctrl+F, then a search box will pop-up, as below:

5. Please input the model name of CPU (Ex: 9800E). If the model name has color mark, it indicates the CPU is in CPU QVL list, as below:

Method 2:

1.  Please enter http://www.stzgcm.com/support/cpu_support and input the model name of the motherboard (Ex: ROG CROSSHAIR VII HERO) as below:

2.  Please click , then you can see CPU QVL list.

3.  Please click Ctrl+F,  then a search box will pop-up as below:

4.  Please input the model name of CPU (Ex: 9800E). If the model name has color mark, it indicates the CPU is in CPU QVL list, as below::

If you want to query Memory QVL List, you can query by below method

1.  Please enter ASUS Download-Center, input the model name of the motherboard(Ex: ROG CROSSHAIR VII HERO), then choose the model name in the drop-down list as below:

2.   Please click [CPU / Memory Support] as below:

3. Please click [Memory / Device Support], and choose Memory_QVL and click [Download] as below:

4.  Please click Ctrl+F,  then a search box will pop-up as below:

5.  Please input the model name of the memory (Ex: CMD16GX4M4B3200C15). If the model name has color mark, it indicated the memory is in Memory QVL list, as below:

Due to new query method , so for the new model of motherboards, you can refer to the below way to check Memory QVL list (Ex: ROG STRIX Z490-A GAMING):

1.  Please enter ASUS Download-Center, input the model name of the motherboard: ROG STRIX Z490-A GAMING, then choose the model name in the drop-down list as below:

2.  Please click [CPU / Memory Support] as below:

3.  Please click [Memory], you can see Memory QVL list as below:

4. Please click Ctrl+F, then a search box will pop-up as below:

5. Please input the model name of memory (Ex: F4-4800C19D-16GTZR). If the model name has color mark, it indicates the memory is in Memory QVL list, as below:

(You can also search the corresponding memory QVL list by choosing Vendor/Size/RAM Speed/Socket Support/Type)

If you use it according to the CPU/memory list QVL, there are still stability and compatibility issues. It is recommended to update this model to the latest Bioses:
