ROG debuts ASUS graphics card 30th Anniversary Edition, new Tandem OLED monitor solutions, PC controllers, plus a wide range of innovative gaming hardware
ASUS Republic of Gamers today announced the opening of its Unlock the ROG Lab event in Cologne, Germany. The event features the launch of a limited-edition ROG Matrix GeForce RTX™5090 in celebration of 30 years of cutting-edge ASUS graphics card innovation. In addition to this milestone, a host of other new ROG gaming products were on display, including next-gen Tandem OLED monitors, a PC controller, and routers, as well as an eye-catching line of Hatsune Miku-inspired products.
Additionally, leading AI computing company and long-time partner NVIDIA® joined ASUS for this event. ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 5090 is a testament to the strong partnership between ASUS and NVIDIA, leveraging their combined expertise to deliver unparalleled performance and innovation to gamers worldwide. Celebrating 30 years of ASUS graphics card innovation
In celebration of three decades of graphics card innovation, the ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 5090 builds on the technologies that made previous ASUS cards standout options for PC hardware enthusiasts. This high-performance card is powered by the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and features revolutionary DLSS 4 technology, plus a quad-fan design boosting airflow and pressure by up to 20%. A patented vapor chamber with a milled heat spreader delivers lower GPU temperatures to enable optimum GPU performance, and liquid metal thermal compound supports more efficient GPU cooling and a higher boost clock. In addition, a 3-ounce copper layer enhances heat dissipation and creates fewer voltage drops across the PCB to boost overclocking and stability. A full copper vapor-chamber cover optimizes cooling for the GPU die and VRAM.
When using both the GC-HPWR slot of an ASUS Advanced BTF motherboard and a 12V-2x6 cable, users can unlock up to 800 watts for the ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 5090.
Other notable features include a Memory Defroster, which unlocks extreme LN2 overclocking by enhancing system recovery from memory freezes, and Aura Lighting on the circular frame to deliver customizable lighting that’s easily synchronized with other Aura Sync devices. The ROG XG Station 3
The ROG XG Station 3 (Thunderbolt™5) external graphics dock is a plug-and-play solution that merges the power of an external GPU with the expandability of a Thunderbolt dock, instantly transforming any Thunderbolt 5-enabled laptop into a gaming or rendering powerhouse. ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG Gen 2
The ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG Gen 2 is a 26.5-inch QHD WOLED monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms (GTG) response time. The monitor includes the new TrueBlack Glossy coating that maintains black hues in any lighting and delivers matte-like glare suppression. The XG27AQDMG Gen 2 provides an excellent balance of performance and visual clarity, offering VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black compliance, 99% DCI-P3 gamut, true 10-bit color, and Delta E2 color difference. ROG Raikiri II Xbox Wireless
The ROG Raikiri II Xbox Wireless controller is armed with a full arsenal of gaming essentials. On PCs, a 1000Hz polling rate ensures ultra-low latency in both wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes, which is further enhanced by ROG SpeedNova Wireless technology. Anti-drift TMR joysticks offer more accurate control and consume less power than Hall Effect joysticks, while providing exceptional anti-drift performance.
In addition, the controller features dual-mode triggers that allow seamless switching between short-travel micro-switch triggers and full-travel TMR sensor triggers, four rear buttons that are fully programmable and ergonomically designed, and micro-switch buttons that include D-Pad, ABXY buttons, rear buttons, and bumpers with instant actuation and tactile feedback. Tri-mode connectivity enables versatile multiplatform compatibility, including USB-C®for Xbox Series X|S, PCs, ROG Xbox Ally; 2.4GHz wireless for Xbox Series X|S, PCs, ROG Xbox Ally; and Bluetooth® for PCs and ROG Xbox Ally. 2.4 GHz mode supports at least 30 hours of battery playtime with RGB lighting, audio and vibration off on a single charge.
