How ASUS Power Sync Works ASUS Power Sync works by transmitting control signals between devices like the ASUS NUC and the display via an HDMI connection. Once connected, you can power both the ASUS NUC and the display on or off simultaneously with a single button.

You can customize the ASUS Power Sync function using the MyASUS app. A common use case is: When an ASUS NUC is connected to a monitor and the monitor is turned ON, the connected ASUS NUC will also turn ON.

Similarly, when the ASUS NUC is off and connected to a display, turning on the display will also power OFF the connected ASUS NUC.

How to set up Power Sync

The following steps will guide you through setting up ASUS Power Sync:

1.Check hardware compatibility: The device must be a model that supports the ASUS Power Sync function, such as the NUC 12, NUC 13, or other compatible models. It must also support HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) functionality, and the ASUS display must support the Power Sync function.

2.Cables: Connect the ASUS NUC to the ASUS display using an HDMI cable (version 1.2 or higher). Also, ensure that all other necessary cables, such as the power cord, keyboard, and mouse, are properly connected.

3. ASUS NUC Bioses Settings: Enter the NUC's Bioses setup interface and locate the HDMI CEC-related options (usually found under Advanced -> Onboard Devices or the Display & Video menu).
