FREMONT, California, July 1, 2025 - ASUS today announced the availability for NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5050 series graphics cards, with a compact 3 fan 2.5 slot Prime design and ultra-compact dual slot, two fan Dual GeForce variants being available at launch. These graphics cards combine the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and ASUS hardware design yielding cards that are cool and quiet and built to a high standard using ASUS exclusive Auto Extreme Production process. Both series offer esports gamers, content creators, as well as prosumers a solid choice whether as an upgrade to an older graphics card or as the foundation for a new build.

NVIDIA Blackwell for everyone

The ASUS Prime and ASUS Dual RTX 5050 series graphics cards are designed to bring competitive performance in eSports PC games while also offering support to enhance performance via DLSS. Creators will appreciate the modern media engine which includes the latest NVIDIA encoders and decoders including AV1 support as well as support for high resolution displays such as ASUS ProArt range of 4K, 5K, 6K and 8K monitors. Creatives can further accelerate their workflows via support for NVIDIA Studio driver and creator tools as well as leveraging ASUS Free MuseTree software for easy local generative AI pursuits. The cards have broad compatibility due to compact form factors and low power profiles. ASUS recommends a PSU of 550 Watts and has designed both the PRIME and Dual Series cards to meet NVIDIA’s SFF-Ready standards which can allow consumers to install ASUS RTX 5050 series cards not only in small form factor systems but also in their existing builds.

ASUS Prime graphics cards: sleek, silent, and subtle without compromising on performance

The Prime GeForce RTX 5050 8GB and Prime GeForce RTX 5050 8GB OC Edition offer solid cooling and performance with a sleek design. These Prime graphics cards offer a 2.5-slot form factor with three fans, meaning they are ready to power a small form factor PC with robust cooling power.

The Prime RTX 5050 series of graphics cards offer Axial-Tech Fans and Dual-Ball fan bearings for improved air flow and lifespan as well as Dual VBioses functionality to allow for a quick toggle between Performance and quiet modes.

The ASUS Prime 750W Gold PSU pairs perfectly with any of the Prime RTX 5050 cards. Boasting 80 Plus gold certification, dual-ball fan bearings and other premium components, this PSU can provide stable power delivery for a long time — and it comes with an 8-year warranty to back that up.

ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 5050 graphics cards: minimum size, maximum performance

For consumers looking for a more compact dual-fan solution, ASUS is offering the Dual Geforce RTX 5050 line of graphics cards. The ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 5050 8GB and ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 5050 8GB OC Edition both bring performance and features into a sub 8” 2 fan shroud design which makes installation into cramped cases easier while allowing for easy post-installation access and maintenance. The Dual RTX 5050 series graphics cards offer 0dB operation for quiet operation when not under load.

ASUS recommends the ASUS TUF GAMING 750W Gold PSU as the power supply for these cards or the ASUS ROG LOKI SFX-L 850W Platinum PSU for applications requiring even more compact power supplies. Along with being an ideal aesthetic match, it will give all ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 5050 graphics cards the enduring power they need to perform their best.

Tweak, Tune, and Monitor with GPU TWEAK III

ASUS GPU Tweak III software allows users to conveniently monitor and tune graphics card performance. It provides an in-depth look at graphics card specs and status, and it makes it easy to adjust various card operating parameters. Whether a user wants to change their card’s GPU or memory clock speeds, fan curve, power limit, or more GPU Tweak III makes it a cinch. Plus, with the new OSD Wizard feature, users will be able to easily customize the GPU Tweak III on-screen display (OSD), so they have the information they need in a format that suits any preference. Users can also easily log and compare different profiles/settings via the robust monitoring tool which supports logging and comparison views.

Additionally, GPU Tweak III features a mobiles Monitor function, enabling users to track their graphics card’s status on a mobiles device when connected to the same local network. mobiles controls now let users toggle GPU Tweak III’s on-screen display (OSD), activate a graphics card’s 0dB fan mode and switch between OC, Silent and User performance modes.
